FOLLOWING CURRENT GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES AND ADVICE WE WOULD LIKE TO BRING TO THE ATTENTION OF OUR BIDDERS THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION ABOUT OUR AUCTIONS:
ALL SALES WILL BE ON-LINE ONLY UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
Viewing- there will be no viewing at our premises, details of all lots can be found via the ‘live bidding and catalogues’ tab on our website: www.capesdunn.com where additional information and condition reports can be requested if required
Bidding-there are three ways to bid:
ONLINE, via our website, this connects to www.easyliveauctions.com and www.the-saleroom.com. Please note: additional fees apply
TELEPHONE, please contact the office on (+44)161 432 1911 to book a telephone line, telephone bids must be received by 10am GMT, on the morning of sale, Please note: there are a limited amount of phone lines available so please book early
COMMISSION, we do not have an on-line form so either email email@example.com or telephone (+44)161 432 1911, details of our bidding increments can be found on the on-line sale listings under our terms of business. Commission bids must be received by 10am on the morning of sale
Payment- ALL GOODS MUST BE PAID FOR WITHIN 48 HOURS OF THE SALE
Our preferred method of payment during this time is by Bank Transfer or, for transactions up to £500, via telephone using a UK registered debit card
Collection in person or via courier- ALL GOODS TO BE COLLECTED OR ARRANGEMENTS CONFIMED WITH OURSELVES, BY THE FRIDAY OF THE WEEK OF SALE
By appointment only, please contact Pamela on 0161 432 1911 to arrange, we will offer 15 minute slots
We will not release goods to a courier unless we have received email notification by yourselves to do so
Report to reception upon arrival, please use the hand sanitiser provided on the wall beside the front door before entering the premises.
If collections overrun you will be asked to wait in your vehicle and wait for our instruction, while your goods are made ready.

While adhering to the current government advice regarding Covid 19, Capes Dunn is continuing to offer its current calendar of auctions and will be open for viewing on sale days and payment and collections, but has suspended valuation days until further notice.
We assume that any clients who attend the premises are aware of the current government advice and will act accordingly.
We appreciate that in the current climate many customers may not want to visit our premises and therefore we would like to ensure that clients who would like to participate in our auctions are aware of all the options available to them:
All lots are illustrated on our website and additional photos of all lots can be made available and can be accessed through our ‘Live Bidding and Catalogues’ tab.
Can be requested on-line through our website, via email or via telephone on any lots in our specialist, Tuesday, auctions. Please note, we do not offer condition reports in lots in our General, Monday, auctions.
Live internet bidding (fees apply)
This is offered via the-saleroom.com and easyliveauction.com, both links are available through our website.
State your maximum bid is £s sterling and Capes Dunn will bid on your behalf. Please note: commission bids will only be actioned if we receive your name, address, telephone number(s) and email address (if available) and must be placed before 10 am on the day of sale.
We have a limited number of telephone lines available, which are offered on a first come first serve basis, so please book early to avoid disappointment and must be placed before 10 am on the day of sale.
Payment (must be made within 48 hours of the completion of the sale)
We accept payment by:
Cash - Due to money laundering regulations, we are unable to accept payment of more than £5,000 in cash for an individual lot.
Debit Card- From a UK account. Payment is accepted in-person by card holder, or maximum of £500 if payment made over the telephone. Any payment made by direct debit over the telephone must be made by a card registered in the name and address details on the invoice. Only one telephone payment is accepted per invoice.
